The disease is caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacteria. Having multiple partners and doing sex without condom are some other factors that increase the risk of getting affected from the condition.
Gonorrhea, an infectious disease, is spread by practising unsafe sex. The infection gets easily spread through vagina, penis, mouth, etc. The infection is common in U.S. and affects people belonging to age group of 20-24 years.
